BOISE, IDAHO – November 25, 2025 – To help commemorate its 75th anniversary, Intermountain Gas Company has made $7,500 donations to five non-profit organizations in its Idaho service territory.
Company employees nominated their favorite charities in each of Intermountain’s five districts across southern Idaho.
The recipients are:
- Nampa: NeighborWorks Boise, an organization that assists underserved populations achieve home ownership
- Boise: Women’s and Children’s Alliance, providing services to those healing from domestic abuse and sexual assault
- Twin Falls: Kimberly Youth Association, Offering recreational and sports opportunities for youth of all skill levels between the ages of 5-15
- Pocatello: Bannock Youth Foundation Inc., providing a variety of prevention, intervention and treatment services
- Idaho Falls: Heroes Defense, which supports first responders, active-duty military and veterans and their families.

Founded in Boise on October 12, 1950, Intermountain Gas connected its first five customers to the gas distribution system in 1955. The company was acquired by MDU Resources Group in 2008, and today serves about 430,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers across 74 communities in southern Idaho.
