Question: What is IGC Direct?

Answer: IGC Direct is a service that Intermountain Gas Company offers to customers that allows them to receive and/or pay bills online.

Question: How do I make a payment with IGC Direct?

Answer: If you are enrolled for Online Account Services and have logged in: From the Home Page, click on the E-Payment Center button. Enter your IGC Account number and your checking account information. Then schedule your payment. If you have not enrolled for Online Account Services yet: From the Home page, click on Enroll for Online Account Services and fill out the enrollment form. After completing the form, follow the directions above.

Question: Can I choose the way I receive my Intermountain Gas bill?

Answer: Yes. If you wish to view your bill online instead of receiving it in the mail, go to the E-Payment Center where you can choose the method of bill delivery you prefer. If you choose an online bill (e-bill), we will send you an email notification each month when your e-bill is available to view and/or pay online.

Question: If I elect to receive my bill online with IGC Direct, will I continue to receive a paper bill?

Answer: You will receive one more paper bill by mail. In the future you will not receive paper bills; instead, you will be able to view and pay your bills online.

Question: Is there a cost to receive my bill online via IGC Direct?

Answer: There is no charge to receive and/or pay your bills using our IGC Direct online services.

Question: If I receive my bill using IGC Direct, how will I pay my bill?

Answer: Your bill is delivered electronically. By clicking on E-Payment Center you can view and/or pay your bill online. It is easy to make an online payment. After viewing your bill, just click on Pay Bill, enter the amount of the payment and schedule the payment date. Or, you may choose any of the other traditional methods to make your payment: mail, pay station, night drop, IGC office.

Question: What if I forget to look at my IGC Direct online bill?

Answer: Forgetting to look at your online bill is no different than forgetting to look at a regular paper bill.

Question: Placing information about myself or my financial accounts on the Internet makes me nervous. How will my transactions be kept confidential and safe from others?

Answer: Transactions to and from Intermountain Gas Company's Web pages are encrypted. Essentially this means that any information sent between your browser and Intermountain Gas Company is scrambled, using state-of-the art equipment, while it is being communicated. This is a standard protective measure being used by the majority of businesses today that are performing financial transactions on the Internet.

Question: Whom do I contact if I have more questions about the IGC Direct program?

Answer: Please feel free to email Intermountain Gas Company's Internet Customer Service or call us toll-free 1-877-510-6206, Monday through Friday 7 AM - 7 PM MST.

Question: When are e-bills available for viewing?

Answer: We will send you an email notification advising you of your e-bill’s availability. Typically it will arrive a day or so prior to when you would normally receive your paper bill in the mail.

Question: Where can I find my IGC account number?

Answer: Look on your most recent paper bill. Your account number is located in the upper right-hand side.

Question: Does an e-bill look like a regular paper bill?

Answer: Yes.

Question: How can I add additional IGC accounts to pay online?

Answer: This can be done by clicking on the “Update Info” button. Then select "Update Intermountain Gas Company Account(s)" where you can enter additional accounts.

Question: What happens if I no longer want to pay online?

Answer: No problem. Use any of the traditional methods to pay your IGC bill.

Question: I want to start getting a paper bill again, what do I need to do?

Answer: Go to the E-Payment Center. From Payment Delivery Settings, select the bill delivery option you prefer.

Question: Can I be enrolled in AutoPay (IGC Direct) and still receive an e-bill?

Answer: Yes, To change your bill delivery method to e-bill, go to the Bill Delivery Settings section of the E-Payment Center. Select E-bill and press Update. You will receive an email notification each month when your e-bill is ready to view.

Question: My IGC bill is paid automatically with the AutoPay service, is there a way to view my bill online so that I won’t get a paper bill?

Answer: Yes, with IGC Direct, our free e-bill service. Just go to our E-Payment Center and from Bill Delivery Settings select E-bill as your bill delivery method.
